Family business established in 1948

Bretts of Ipswich Ltd is a family run furniture firm established over 125 years ago, although the present trading style of the company was established in 1948 when the current directors' grandfather bought the Westghate Street store which we still trade from today. This makes us the oldest family run and owned business in Ipswich town centre.

We carry a varied produce range of sofas, chairs, recliners, beds, carpets and rugs from some of the best known and trusted names in the industry as well as products from other quality companies who are possibly less well kown. We have very knowledgeable and well trained staff and pride ourselves on the level of service we offer. Trading from our own premises enables us to offer more competitive prices than most of our larger rivals. We still employ our own delivery teams and carpet fitters so maintain control of all aspects of our business.
